Commenting your code - commit messages

When you commit or push changes, your commit messages will appear in your Beanstalk account on activity and browse page. One thing you need to know is that when messages arrive to Beanstalk, we filter them before we show them to you. By filtering, we mean that any sentences which include brackets like "[ some text goes here ]" will not be shown in activity or browse page.

Why do we do this? Well the reason we don't show these tags is since they are used for deployments and integrations for various actions, like tracking time, managing tickets, deploying changes. Since this information would only make commit messages harder to read, we hide this information on the pages.
