How do I change the time zone on my account?

The time zone feature is available to all Beanstalk users. Once changed, the selected timezone will display throughout the application.

Changing a time zone will affect the way time stamps are presented in the web application. All data is stored in UTC time internally in our databases, then when a web page is shown to you we use your preference time zone to adjust the time stamp to your liking.

To change the timezone on your Beanstalk account, click your name at the top right corner of the page. Then in Profile settings, navigate to the “Time Zone” section to select your preferred time zone from the drop-down menu.

Please Note: Time zones do not affect commit times. Commits made with Git are recorded locally on the computer that made the commit. Commits made with SVN depend on the time and date set on our servers. Changing the time zone will affect all data displayed on the Activity and Changeset pages.
